Read your skin like a dermatologist would, week by week.

Built for these decisions.
If any of these are your question, this is the tool.
Am I using the right active in the right order?
โ The plan reads your current stack and reshuffles. Azelaic stays as morning anchor, vitamin C drops out for now because your skin barrier is still inflamed, niacinamide picks up the slack at week 2. The order has a reason on every line.
What do I buy first and what comes second?
โ One bottle to start, not four. Azelaic 10% from week 1 with a sunscreen pairing locked in. Niacinamide added at week 2. Vitamin C waits for week 6 once skin is stable. The cart math is on the page.
Is there a path that does not start with retinoid?
โ Yes. The plan offers a no-Rx track: azelaic + niacinamide + tranexamic acid in serum form, with vitamin C added only after week 8 if barrier holds. Tretinoin shows as an optional pathway with the conversation script for the derm visit.
Can I stack azelaic and niacinamide on top without melting my face?
โ The plan adds them in the right phase, not all at once. Niacinamide every night with the tretinoin first. Azelaic mornings starting week 3. Vitamin C waits until your skin tolerates both for two clean weeks.
Three bottles of actives, three months in, and the brown marks look the same.
Acne settled six months ago and the brown marks are still there. You read for an hour, walked into Sephora, and now you have a cart with The Ordinary azelaic, a $182 SkinCeuticals vitamin C, a niacinamide bottle from Inkey, and a tretinoin sample your derm sent. The reddit answer is twelve threads long and contradicts itself. One post says azelaic in the morning, one says azelaic burns for the first 4 weeks and then purges for 4 more. One thread swears by niacinamide stacked with vitamin C, the next thread says they cancel each other out. Three months in you have spent $120 on four bottles, switched twice, and the marks look the same in the bathroom light. Nobody tells you the order. Nobody tells you when to switch if your cheeks are still stinging on week 5. The plan was supposed to be the easy part.
Four pieces, one tool.
Each piece ships in the first build for waitlist members. SaaS upgrades layer on top.
Twelve-question skin profile
Skin type, sensitivity history, current breakout state, PIH depth using a Fitzpatrick + visual scale, current actives in your routine, sun and SPF habits, recent prescriptions. The output is a starting state the plan reasons from, not a marketing label.

16-week routine generator
Morning and night steps for each phase. Azelaic dosing schedule, niacinamide stack order, vitamin C add-in point, tretinoin bridge if Rx track. Every step has a one-line reason next to it so you know why this one before that one.
Week 2, 4, 8, 12 response checkpoints
Two-minute check-in form. Burning level, redness, breakout count, photo upload optional. The plan rewrites itself live based on what you report. Skin tolerating azelaic clean? Plan pulls vitamin C in two weeks early. Still purging at week 4? Plan holds dose and slides the next step right.

Active-switch logic with source citations
Azelaic failed at week 6? The plan proposes tranexamic acid serum or a hydroquinone short course with a citation on each option. Tretinoin too harsh? The plan steps back to niacinamide only and rebuilds the tretinoin bridge at week 8. Every swap shows the reason and the dermatologist source.
Today's tools don't do this.
Average wasted spend is $80 to $200 on two to three actives bought in the wrong order. Three months lost to a routine that triggered purging or barrier damage. The harder cost is the brown marks staying past the wedding, the new job photo, the school year start. A tele-derm visit at $50 to $150 hands you one recommendation with no week-by-week adjustment.
Web tool. Twelve-question skin profile, 16-week routine with morning and night steps, response checkpoints at week 2, 4, 8, 12 that rewrite the plan, active-switch logic with source citations, both Rx and no-Rx tracks. Works in any browser on desktop and mobile.
iOS app with daily check-in and photo timeline, dermatologist-shareable one-page PDF, integration with The Ordinary and Naturium stock data for cart pre-fill, anonymous benchmark against other users at the same week and skin type.
Prescription, dermatologist video visit, medical diagnosis. We do not replace the derm. The plan is the schedule and the switch rules between visits, not the medical call.

Solo builder ยท Choppy Toast
This page is a quick vibe-coded probe to test demand and gather feature requests. The actual product, when it ships, will be a polished, hand-built tool, not this scaffold.
For a sense of what "polished and shipped" looks like, here's another product I built: relly.permissionlabs.com.
Honest answers.
Then I wait. The waitlist stays live with no expiry. The faster you bring a friend with two bottles of azelaic on their bathroom shelf and no clear plan, the faster I build it. That is the whole engine.
